JACKIE APPIAH AND PATIENCE OZOKWOR IN HOLLYWOOD

Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah, has once again scored another feat among her peers in both the Ghana and Nigerian movie industries as she has taken her craft to Hollywood.

Nigerian actress, Patience Ozorkwor is also not left out of the “race”.

Both actresses are presently on set for a new Hollywood feature film, titled “Turning Point,” a production of Hekcentrik productions.

The movie is set in New York and features Hollywood stars like Lauren London, Ernie Hudson, Todd Bridges and Cynda Williams.

The movie talks about the ethnic prejudice among various black communities and what they go through to survive such harsh conditions.

After weeks of thrilling performances, Abuja based upcoming singer Christian has become the winner of Glo Naija Sings season 3!

Christian was announced winner last night at the end of a spectacular finale.

The grand finale was spiced up with guest performances from Onyeka Onwenu, Omawumi, Season 2’s winner Casey, Singer/producer eLDee Da Don and the host of the show Darey Art Alade.

As earlier announced, Christian walks away with the grand prize of One Hundred Thousand Dollars.

Eddie Murphy quits as host of next year's Oscars

 

American comedian and actor, Eddie Murphy has resigned as host of the Oscars scheduled for February 26^th next year.

Eddie’s resignation comes as a result of the decision of his partner, Brett Ratner, who resigned from producing the 2012 show yesterday.

President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, who are behind the ceremony, Tom Sherak, says they appreciate Eddie Murphy’s feeling about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and wish him well.

Before his resignation, Eddie Murphy was slated to host the Oscars for the first time and no immediate replacement has been announced.

Drake and Lil Wayne collabo.....

It might interest you to know that Canadian rapper, Drake and American rapper, Lil Wayne are no longer planning to make a collaborative album.

Reports say both of the Young Money heavyweight rappers agree to call off the duet in order to avoid being compared to fellow MCs Jay-Z and Kanye West, who have already dropped a similar project "Watch the Throne" earlier this year.

Instead of doing collaboration with Lil Wayne, Drake crafts a mixtape with Rick Ross under the title of "Y.O.L.O." which means You Only Live Once.

On the other hand, Drake is currently promoting his second studio album titled: "Take Care" which is coming out in the United States on the 15^th of this month.

Michael Jackson's death bed to be auctioned????

Reports say some of the items inside Michael Jackson's hospital room including the bed where he drew his last breath on will be up for auctions next month.

Michael's death bed which is queen-size with an antique frame is reportedly in good shape and the sheets have been changed.

The Paintings, sculptures and antique furnishings have been positioned as displays for the auction. Among the items is a mirror where Michael scribbled a note to himself.

Meanwhile, the auction is scheduled to take place on the 17^th of December, this year.
